Geri Castaldo
The customer always comes first with Geri Castaldo, chief executive officer of Codebench. Castaldo joined Codebench in late 2004 after spending 16 years as a member of senior management teams within the security industry. She owns a track record that has allowed her to see the industry from both the manufacturing and integration sides. Castaldo has worked as Director, Human Resources at Siemens Building Technologies, Security Systems Division; Vice President, Human Resources at Security Technologies Group; and Director, Human Resources at CASI-RUSCO (now GE Security). She has over a decade of experience in acquisitions and mergers, technical employee productivity initiatives, company reorganizations and customer satisfaction issues. She received her B.A. in Communications from Hunter College, City University of New York and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. Her professional memberships include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), and Women in Security Electronics (WISE).
Bob Fontana
Bob Fontana, president and general manager of Codebench, loves programming and loves big challenges. His ability to rise to challenges and perform beyond all expectations earned him his reputation as a programmer with a passion for excellence as well as a leader that will see that the most difficult projects get done on time. Fontana has worked in the security industry since 1990. He was a principal engineer on the Picture Perfect development team at CASI-RUSCO. Picture Perfect became the benchmark access control solution for Fortune 100 companies. After leaving CASI-RUSCO, Fontana worked as Director of Integration Services for STG, a security integrator that was later acquired by Siemens Building Technologies in 2001. Fontana is recognized among access control and CCTV manufacturers as a highly competent designer and developer, and is known by security integrators and end-users for his superior customer service. Fontana attended Cornell University's College of Engineering, held an adjunct position at Miami-Dade Community College, and is a member of numerous professional organizations.
